Oil leaks into condensate water can cause serious damaged if undetected. The condensate monitor from Arjay continuously monitors the clean condensate water for trace amounts of oil. For basic leak monitoring of synthetic and petroleum oil types, the Model 3420 condensate monitor is used. This light scatter technique monitors the clean water for light refraction by oil droplets. For more precise monitoring of petroleum based hydrocarbons, the model Model 3410 condensate monitor is used. This uses UV fluorescence to target the dissolved and emulsified aromatics in the water.
